Fire Forensics recently exhibited at two conferences in May 2021; Fire Australia 2021 and AustMine 2021.
Fire Protection Australia’s (FPA) Conference, Fire Australia 2021 was held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. Fire Australia 2021 is the largest fire protection conference and tradeshow in the southern hemisphere. As such it was a great way for us to introduce ourselves and meet all those within the Fire Protection Industry. The discussions we had at our stand with various companies was informative and provided an insight into the future of Fire Protection.
Following the Fire Australia Conference 2021, we headed over to Perth for AustMine 2021 which was held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. There were over 1,250 delegates in attendance which allowed us again to meet new companies, make contacts and see familiar faces. The theme of the conference this year was Harnessing Intelligence, which was how automation can be implemented within the Mines.
Upon reflection, automation involves technology and electrical systems. The interesting part of this all was realising the need for us to educate and train our staff on and about this new technology that is constantly evolving so we can continue to provide our renowned quality services. If we do not invest in our own people then how do we expect our clients to rely on us?
Overall, we cannot wait to see and work with the contacts we had made at each of these conferences, and it was fantastic to interact and network face to face with our wider industry after a period that had been a challenge for us all. We are now more optimistic than ever about the future of fire protection and investigation and look forward to our next opportunity to share key learnings with our industry.
