James W. Munday MIFireE, FSSocDip, IAAI-CFI, FFSSoc
Jim is a consultant forensic scientist and has specialised in the investigation of fires and explosions since 1979. Formerly a member of the Fire Investigation Unit at the Metropolitan Police Forensic Science Laboratory ("Scotland Yard"), he has examined in excess of 2000 fire and explosion scenes including over 350 fatalities, carried out laboratory examinations and analyses on items and materials originating from more than 1000 others and given evidence as an expert witness on numerous occasions in a wide variety of legal settings. He also has the unique distinction of having carried out a fire investigation in Antarctica! Jim is a Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers and is one of the few holders of the prestigious UK Forensic Science Society Diploma in Fire Investigation, accredited as a post-graduate diploma by the University of Strathclyde. He is also a CertifiedFire Investigator under the well-known International Association of Arson Investigators scheme and in January 2007 was made a Fellow of the Forensic Science Society, in recognition of significant contributions to the field of fire investigation.
Lynn G. Munday
Lynn operates and supervises the office, casework and financial management systems. Formerly with UK local government and the Metropolitan Police ("Scotland Yard"), Lynn has great experience in handling highly confidential enquiries and material. She is also familiar with local government and public service finance practices and can advise on cost-effective methods of using our services.

John D. DeHaan BS, PhD, FABC, FSSDip
Formerly employed by the California Department of Justice and now principal of Fire-Ex Forensics Inc. in the USA, Dr DeHaan is one of the world's most well-known specialists in this field and author of many important texts including the standard book "Kirk's Fire Investigation". A Fellow of the American Board of Criminalistics, he also holds the Diploma in Fire Investigation from the UK Forensic Science Society.
Michael D. Gardiner BA(Hons), MIFireE
Mick was formerly in the London Fire Brigade for 27 years including 11 as Station Officer in a specialist Fire Investigation Team. In addition to origin & cause determination, he has particular expertise in human behaviour associated with fire and motivation of arsonists. He is the Principal of Gardiner Associates (see below under "Allied Practices ").

John ('Jack') Malooly BA, CFI
Formerly a Senior Special Agent with the US Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Jack is an ATF Certified Explosives Instructor, ATF Certified Explosives Specialist and ATF Certified Fire Investigator. Between 1980 and 2005 he was a member of the ATF National Response Team and, in that capacity, conducted fire and explosion investigations throughout the USA. From 1991 to 2005 he was also an active member of the ATF International Response Team, which was formed to assist the State Department and the U.S. Military in conducting major fire and explosion investigations around the world. Now based in Chicago, Jack's expertise is available to our clients on request.
Ross Brogan MA(FI), IAAI-CFI
Ross retired from the New South Wales Fire Brigades after a thirty-eight year career, which included almost twenty years in the Fire Investigation and Research Unit. He is currently the adjunct lecturer responsible for the design and delivery of the Charles Sturt University Graduate Diploma /MA program in Fire Investigation and undertakes other consultancy projects. Ross is recognised as a great pioneer of scientific fire investigation in the southern hemisphere and one of the world's most experienced and knowledgeable practitioners. He also advises on training and accreditation matters.
